Is the result of the hard and constant work of Juvenal Magaña, its owner and chef. And the unconditional support of his wife, Blanca. The project began from a dream that Juvenal had one night, where he visualized and felt his own restaurant very real. From this moment on, at 3 in the morning, he went out with his wife and children to look for the ideal place to make his dream come true. This is how Mi Casa Grill opened its doors on February 22, 2022, in Richmond, California.
Mi Casa Grill follows the tradition of Mexican-home comfort food by providing homemade tortillas and bread with its dishes. For breakfast, the restaurant serves plates like chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and Torta Polla a la Diabla, a spicy chicken sandwich served on a bolillo roll. The menu is filled with plates from Southern Mexico, such as the dinner dish Enchiladas Estilo Apatzingan or Apatzingan-Style Enchiladas, from Michoacan, Mexico. Other plates like Salvadorean pupusas and Venezuelan empanadas bring the flavors of South America. In addition, the restaurant’s bar serves specialty cocktails, beers and wines.
